MARCH 10, 2011 ST. PAUL, MN - Smyth Companies¿ Austin Minnesota operation will be hosting the Austin Chamber of Commerce during an open house on Tuesday, March 11. The event is one of several similar gatherings arranged by the Austin Chamber to bring focus to Austin-based businesses, and demonstrate how they contribute to the local economy. Smyth Companies, a producer of labels for packaging and commercial printing, operates two production facilities in Austin, employing 75 people from the area. Tuesday¿s open house will be held at the Commercial print location, 1201 27th Ave. NW, from 5:30PM until 7:00PM. Smyth¿s new Xerox iGen4 digital press will be featured.
