Job Planner/Scheduling Supervisor
The Job Planning / Scheduling Supervisor schedules work, manages personnel and other resources to ensure delivery of customer orders to 98% accuracy. He or she guides, supports, and collaborates with Customer Service, Pressroom, and Finishing to ensure this objective is met. This position reports to the Production Manager.
- Leads and manages all aspects of the job planning, scheduling, and plate making function
- Coordinates scheduling, litho presses, multiple square cutting and die cutting processes, as well as outsourcing as required
- Ensures proper communication of accurate ship dates to Customer Service
- Manages a dynamic, responsive group of individuals in Job Planning, Scheduling, and Plate Making
- Must possess exceptionally strong organizational skills
- Must be able to creatively manage a rapidly changing production schedule and respond effectively to ever- changing customer delivery requirements
- Must possess extremely acute oral and written communication skills
- Must possess creative problem solving skills
- Must possess strong computer skills, utilizing data analysis tools, data collection tools, especially strong in Microsoft Excel
- Uses creative techniques to reduce lead times

Sheet-fed Press Operators - We are expanding our Austin, MN facility and are looking for Press Operators to produce
high quality lithographic label printing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a lithographic pressroom operating sheet-fed presses
- Basic math, reading, writing skills
- Ability to think through the mechanical aspects of press operations
- Ability to visibly detect color variations
- Various shifts and overtime available
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Fork lift experience a plus
- Candidates must have a HS Ed/GED

Cutter Operators - This role will operate various cutting machines in the Finishing area of our Austin, MN location.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a high school education and 1-2 years experience in printing industry is a plus but not required. Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills, ability to read a ruler and have the ability to tactfully communicate. Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality and ability to stay in work area and/or workstation. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity. Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. Good knowledge of cutter operation and set-up practices. Must be able to perform all duties associated with the Finishing position. Must be able to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors. Must be willing to perform all assigned duties and responsibilities within supervisory guidelines. Lifting requirements of up to 50+ lbs., must have color vision, be self-motivated and work with little supervision and work well within a team concept. Must be able to do overtime as needed.

Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills, ability to read a ruler and have the ability to tactfully communicate. Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality and ability to stay in work area and/or workstation. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity. Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. Must be able to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors. Must be willing to perform all assigned duties and responsibilities within supervisory guidelines.
