Smyth Companies FTP
Please follow these steps to quickly transfer files to or from our Austin, Bedford, Saint Paul, or Minneapolis Smyth Companies locations:

- Contact your Smyth Companies Customer Service Representative for login information.
- Obtain a FTP Client (See Additional Information below)
- If possible, we recommend that StuffIt Deluxe, published by Alladin/Allume Systems, be used to compress your files into a single StuffIt archive prior to uploading.
- Upload files to desired Smyth Companies location
- Send recipient of the transferred file an email listing the File Name, Trim Size, Colors, and any Special Instructions.

MACINTOSH
To transfer or retrieve files from our FTP site using a Mac, you'll need a FTP client. We recommend one of the following:
- Fetch - You can try Fetch free for 15 days, or buy it for $25.00
- Cyberduck - this is a freeware FTP client for Mac OS X. This can also be downloaded from www.versiontracker.com or www.download.com
You will need the following information to access our FTP server:
Hostname: ftp.smythco.com
Username: ******
Password: ******

To transfer or retrieve files from our FTP site using a PC, you can use either Internet Explorer or a FTP client
Internet Explorer: Enter the following url in your IE browser:
ftp://username@ftp.smythco.com
Please contact your Smyth Companies Customer Service Representative for the login username and password. In the url above, you will need to replace the username with the information supplied to you.
Filezilla - this is a free Windows FTP Client.
You will need the following information to access our FTP server:
Hostname: ftp.smythco.com
Username: ******
Password: ******
